Report: COVID-19, Uprisings, & Mobility Justice
The Untokening, in collaboration with Pueblo Planning, started convening a virtual conversation in April 2020 to share our concerns and visions for mobility justice in a COVID-19 world. We facilitated this virtual space where people could come together to share ideas and highlight community-based narratives and strategies; with a goal to create a healing space for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) community leaders, advocates, and practitioners engaged in mobility justice. Using Zoom and Facebook Live, we hosted engaging participatory panel discussions with facilitators and participants from across the country.
The “COVID-19, Uprisings, & Mobility Justice” report summarizes our process, includes recaps of all five sessions, and reflections and learnings from the series as a whole.
